STEM For All: A touch of hope for the underserved communities:
Through STEM extracurricular activities for young participants, STEM for all was delivered to develop critical thinking skills for 1,000 students in remote, underserved communities in Jordan. 50% of the beneficiaries were refugees. With near equal representation of Jordanian and Syrian children, males and females, in 7 governorates. Our collaboration with the ministry of education and several CBOs has given children access to training in electronics, 3D printing, and design thinking; using fun and playful activities.
STEM for all was implemented in collaboration with the QUDRA 2 programme, a co-funded programme by the European Union, GIZ and Spanish cooperation agency.
