A decade of preparing future innovators!

In an effort to realize our vision, we have collaborated with numerous dedicated partners in the MENA region to create the YIL program, which aims to promote meta skills via STEM education, and to ensure that the program has the greatest potential impact on the innovators of tomorrow. Among our distinguished partners in Jordan is the Abdul Hameed Shoman foundation, who has partnered with Thinking Oasis to implement the project in several governorates across Jordan since 2016

YIL in numbers:

  • Beneficiaries: 450
  • Project Implementations: 10
  • locations: 5
  • Training hours given since 2016: 60,000
  • Student projects completed: 60

Lifelong Learners: the outcomes of YIL:

After this intensive program, students get a strong foundation in Critical Thinking skills and become confident learners able to master any new skills or knowledge topic. Their polished design thinking skills benefit their community as their heightened sense of empathy pushes them to solve problems faced by community members.  The skills they develop are gained by their own active learning, guiding them to a path of innovation and adaptation.

Success Stories:

Students curious to solve real-life problems were on the search for waste segregation, firefighting, and health monitoring solutions. Driven by curiosity and powered by the skills to learn independently, several groups decided to experiment with AI-based solutions, and successfully trained and implemented AI-models in projects.
